A horse pulled carriage transporting the body of Miron Ghibus, deceased at 82 years old. He has been living and working in the forest the entire life. He has been a kind and friendly person and now at his funeral many people came to say goodbye. Some came for the first time on these remote hills. Considering his age also, the entire funeral seemed sometimes rather like a party - people enjoyed to see each as this type of occasions are very rare.

Many of the inhabitants come up from Poienile de sub Munte during the summer months to raise livestock and tend kitchen gardens as there is no room for such things in the valley below, but there are a few who live there permanently. But it has no electricity and winters are harsh and the young dream of owning SUVs and the world they glimpse when they manage to get internet access on their mobile phones.
