Czech prime minister Andrej Babis is facing a criminal investigation into allegations he wrongfully acquired CZK 50 million (2 million euros) in EU subsidies by hiding his ownership of the Stork Nest farm and conference centre near Prague. The subsidy was only available to small businesses. He claims the case is politically motivated.
