Roman Corinthian collumns mark the location of the forum at the Volubilis ruins, near Moulay Idris Zerhoune. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Volubilis was a city on the marches of the Roman empire that, before it became capital of the Roman province of Mauritania Tingitana, was once part of the independent kingdom of Mauritania.
