Workers (husband and wife) carry bundles of dried incense at the Meizhengxiang Incense Factory. As religous life again becomes an important part of Chinese society, businesses related to Buddhism and Daoism have flourished. The factory has seen its sales quadruple since its establishment in 1996, reaching 5 million euros in 2003. The factory now employs over 200 workers, mostly migrants from other parts of China.
