Schoolchildren walk home together after lessons at the newly opened school in the Opera Village. The "Opera Village" is the brainchild of the late German theatre and film director Christoph Schlingensief who died of cancer in 2010. He wanted to create an African site similar to Bayreuth in Germany which has become the world centre for Wagner music. .
