A supporters of the Russian female punk band Pussy Riot picket the Moscow Police headquarters to protest against the arrest of 2 of the group's members during anti Putin demonstrations. The band is known for wearing colourful handmade masks. On 21 February members of the group went into the Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Moscow and started to sing songs attacking the church leadership's support for Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. Tens of thousands of people came out onto the streets of Moscow and other Russian cities following the announcement of the results of the presidential election which saw Prime Minister Vladimir Putin elected to the presidency with 64 % of the vote. ...
