A patient receives treatment from a dentist at Ayesha Ali Hospital, which is supported by the PKK. According to a PKK spokesperson, the hospital was named after a patient who was killed in Turkish bombardment at a nearby hospital in December 2007. Labelled as terrorists by the Turkish, US and EU, it's in the Qandil Mountains near the border where the guerrillas of the PKK (Kurdistan Worker's Party) live and wage their 26 year war against Turkey that has claimed over 40,000 lives.
