Illiterate and semi-literate women producing parabolic solar cookers. They are members of the Women Barefoot Solar Cooker Engineers Society and received training at the solar powered Barefoot College. This college was founded by Bunker Roy and aims to provide sustainable sources of alternative energy at the grassroot level for cooking (parabolic solar cookers), lighting (solar lighting) and heating (solar water heaters).
