A panoramic view of Dadaab Refugee Camp, home to some 350,000 people mostly from Somalia. Every time a mayor terror attack takes place in Kenya voices in Kenyan society and politics call for closure of the refugee camp claiming that it is a breeding ground for terrorists, and Al-Shabaab in particular. The camp is located in a remote area, around 80 kilometres from the Somali border, visitors are required to travel with armed escort and the entrances to UN facilities are fortified and guarded. The UNHCR has registered all refugees on a computer database.
