Vegetables being grown in the Odaka district which, following the 2011 earthquake, tsunami and resulting nuclear disaster, was declared within an exclusion zone because of high radiation levels. Some farmers are now coming back to work on their fields during the day, although they must still leave before night falls. They grow mostly vegetables for their own consumption.
