A field of flowers grows on a possible site of a mass grave. The village was cleansed in 1992, when 18 male members of the community were murdered on their doorsteps by Serbs from the neighbouring village. The survivors moved to Srebrenica, where they were caught up in the massacre of 1995. Some 20,000 people are still missing after the conflict, and each year teams from the Bosnian Commission for Missing Persons carry out the painstaking search for them in the hills of eastern Bosnia.
