A portrait of William Bakeshisha, farmer and local chief, who lost his house, land and properties after district officials and police evicted him from his farm. He now rents a room in a neighbouring village. In his briefcase he keeps documents, proof that he inherited the farm from his father who was rewarded the land after serving for the British in World War II (WW2). The New Forests Company has signed a lease with the Ugandan government planting more than 10'400 hectares of pine and eucalyptus trees, however this has caused 27'000 people to be evicted from their land, according to Oxfam International.
