Over 10,000 demonstrators, led by political and religious leaders, staged a march to Parliament to protest the government's HIV/AIDS policies, and call on the government to institute a national treatment plan for HIV/AIDS. The sign refers to then Health Minister Manto Tshabalala Msimang, who controversially advocated the use of alternative treatments rather than anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs.
