Architect Renzo Piano in his new building, The Shard, at London Bridge. The Shard, which will be the tallest building in Western Europe is due to be completed and officially inaugurated on the 5th July 2012, opening to the public in 2013. It will contain offices, restaurants, a hotel, apartments and an observation deck.
