Eight months pregnant Folin Fatina, 17, and her husband Fatina Vaiafua, 25, and their three year old daughter Salateine. Folin says: 'Its a nightmare to live in such conditions for a young pregnant mother. I will give birth soon to my second baby and don't want my kids to will live in this filfy area.' The island's elevation is just 3.3 metres above sea level. TeKavatoetoe's community is threatened by high tide surges and by salinisation as the ocean water seeps through the pores of the coral rocks during high tides.
