On the evening of Friday 11 September Syrian refugee Aysha is at the PIKPA camp. After registering with the Greek police she was free to move out of Kara Tepe camp. As she was pregnant, and travelling with two children, she was admitted to PIKPA camp, outside Mytilini town. It is run by volunteers for refugee women and families who want to apply for asylum in Greece and there she received clean clothes, shoes and slept the night in a wooden cabin.<br />
Photographer Georgios Makkas followed the journey of Aysha and her children as they arrived on the Greek island of Lesbos and then made their way to Munich.
