Robert Kassatly (left) and his brother Ed, owners of Kassatly's Inc. establised in 1923 and "Worth Avenue's Oldest Shop" outside their store on the avenue, an exclusive shopping street catering to wealthy clientele in Palm Beach, Florida. With regards to the upcoming presidential election, Robert says: 'This is a very conservative area.' Ed adds: 'We built this business ourselves on the back of what our father started when he founded it. It wasn't the government. So we didn't like what the president said about that. No one helped us.' (Referring to President Obama's remark that people do not build businesses completely on their own - they need roads and bridges and other infrastructure which the government builds to make it possible for businesses to thrive): 'The Republicans have seized on this phrase and quoted only the first part of it to portray the president as pushing socialism and state control over business rather than private enterprise.' The US presidential election will be held on 6 November, 2012.
