People break into the legislative council following what had been largely peaceful protests on the 22nd anniversary of the city's return to Chinese rule. At the end of a day that had seen huge numbers came onto the streets to show their continued opposition to the proposed extradition laws, a group stormed the legislative council building smashing their way inside and causing widespread damage to the interior.
