A girl from the Mohammadpur refugee camp learns Urdu at a madrassah (madrassa). Mohammadpur is one of 66 camps for the 250,000 - 300,000 Bihari ?refugees? who were loyal to Pakistan during the fight for Bangladeshi independence in 1971. They have remained stateless and stranded in Bangladesh ever since, without citizenship for either country.
