US Army soldiers from Charlie Battery, 3rd Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment fire their 155mm canon at Firebase Sloan, Forward Operating Base (FOB) Blessing in the Pesh Valley. They fired illumination rounds to support the Afghan National Police (ANP) who were under attack from Taliban fighters at the Chapadara District Centre in the adjoining valley. The unit is the busiest artillery unit in the world having fired 6,426 rounds since deployment in February 2008.
