Viviana (left, 18) and Jasmine (right, 13) use copra as a traditional hair treatment while bathing in the Ngof Mangrove Park. They explain that the two green islets behind were once connected to the main land. Only a few years ago, the girls picnicked and camped on the islets. Due to coastal erosion and increasing water levels, local people no longer feel safe travelling and spending time there.
