The Tibetan wild ass, or Kiang, (Equus kiang) on the rangelands of Suojia township in remote Zhiduo county of Yushu prefecture. The Kiang is the largest species of ass in the world and has a growing population thanks to conservation measures and a banning of weapons. The ban has had negative effects for families who cannot defend their property from bears.Sanjiangyuan - The three rivers headwaters.
