Amina Davidson, 16, for Edinburgh.
My life in Edinburgh is quite boring. I don't really like living here and would rather live on Skye. There is more music up there and its quieter, near the sea so more fun. I play traditional music, the fiddle and the accordion, and up there we played at a ceilidh until it got light. I go busking on Saturday afternoons when I am in Glasgow for the junior conservatoire.
I'm into my final year at school and then I want to go up to the college to study Gaelic and music and hope to be a professional musician in Gaelic media or broadcasting. I don't want to be stuck down here. My friends up there want to move to Edinburgh for me its the opposite. I want to vote Yes mainly because of traditional music and the arts funding.
Most of my friends aren't bothered but the ones who are bothered are going to vote 'Yes' just because you want a change. The teachers don't really talk to us about it at school, they want to remain unbiased so don't speak about it. Some teachers wear their 'Yes' badges to school.
At 16, we are trusted to move out, to get married and have children so why not have a decision on what the country can do in future? No matter what happens I hope there will continue to be funding for BBC Alba and Gaelic services.
