A man draped in an EU flag looks out over a rally in Letna Park which drew a crowd of a quarter of a million people, the biggest protest since the communist era, all demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Andrej Babis. Babis is facing a criminal investigation into allegations he wrongfully acquired CZK 50 million (two million euros) in EU subsidies by hiding his ownership of the Stork Nest farm and conference centre near Prague. The subsidy was only available to small businesses. He claims the case is politically motivated.
