On the morning of Tuesday 15 September Syrian refugee Aysha, travelling with her two daughters Bisan and Sham, arrive at Vienna central station where after three days without internet access Aysha finally connects with her husband in Syria and tells him the news, that they arrived safely in Austria.
Photographer Georgios Makkas followed the journey of Aysha and her children as they arrived on the Greek island of Lesbos and then made their way to Munich.
