Chalet hotel welcoming teams and supporters to the other official Euro 2008 football tournament: the European Championship of Mountain Villages. The tournament was held at the summer training ground of hosts FC Gspon, standing at 2008 metres above sea-level, and surrounded by 4000 metre alpine peaks. It is the highest football pitch in Europe, and reachable only by cable car, or a long walk. Amateur league teams from eight countries took part.
