A destroyed home in the village of Diahouin. More than 500 homes in this village were destroyed during the offensive by the Republican Forces (FRCI). Most of the residents have fled into the jungle or to the Catholic Mission in the nearby town of Duekoue. Those who have returned feel very insecure.
