Locals stand near shelters provided by the charity ActionAid. Six months after an earthquake struck the region, hundreds of thousands of people face many obstacles in rebuilding their shattered communities. At least 73,000 were killed by the 7.6 magnitude earthquake that hit the area on 8th October 2005.
