A camp for the survivors of the earthquake set up by the German NGO Navis in Bhaktapur city. Many international aid organisations are delivering food and basic things for everyday life to people affected by the earthquake. Many locals are still afraid to go back to their homes because of the constant small aftershocks.
On 25 April 2015 a powerful earthquake of 7.8 magnitude struck central Nepal, causing widespread destruction and killing approximately 7,760 people (29 April estimate).
