A family who live in a home made from a former tanker container (domik), after they lost their house as a result of the 1988 Spitak earthquake. 25,000 people were killed and hundreds of thousands were left homeless. The cities of Spitak, Gyumri and Vanadzor were greatly affected with large loss of life and devastating damage to buildings and other structures. 20 years after the disaster thousands of people are still waiting to be rehoused.
