Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) staff examining a patient in the isolation ward of the general hospital in Arua. Most patients on this ward are suffering from opportunistic infections and diseases, such as tuberculosis (TB), related to HIV and AIDS. 2,000 AIDS patients are receiving antiretroviral (ARV) drugs from MSF here, and most are able to live a relatively normal life at home. Some are struggling with the disease or the side effects of the drugs and are taken care of by MSF in the hospital.
