Alex Abraham (37) from the Gekehu suburb of Port Moresby. In 2005 he was driving a car, when local police stopped his vehicle. Suspecting that Alex was a criminal, police asked him to leave the car and then shot him in both legs. After the shooting they left him bleeding on the street. Later his left leg was amputated. Alex hired a lawyer to start a case against the policemen. However, that case never reached the court, as the policemen who shot Alex threatened the lawyer, forcing him to drop the case.
