Laxman and Prembai Ragwani at their home in Baladia near Bhuj. Laxman emigrated to Kenya in 1947 aged 17 and built up a very successful construction business working with the British in Nairobi. When he was forced to leave Kenya in 1965 he moved to London where Laxmanbhai Construction was relocated. He and his sons now run a series of very succesful businesses that employ over a thousand people worldwide.
