A Hamas policeman and lifeguards (some of whom are surfers) watch bathers from a lifeguard tower at Sheik Khazdien beach in Gaza City, Gaza Strip. During the summer months most of the surfers work as lifeguards along the 41km stretch of coastline in the Gaza Strip.
