The view from the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station of the Dnieper River. Also known as DneproGES, it is a Soviet-built hydroelectric dam, constructed in 1932. Beneath the waters of the DneproGES flood plain lie the remains of the Mennonite village of Ebenfeld that used to sit on the banks of the river.
