A man stands in a doorway at The Shah Hamdan Mosque, situated on the right bank of the Jhelum River. It is dedicated to the memory of Mir Sayyid Ali Hamdani, a Muslim saint from Hamadan, Persia and is an excellent example of indigenous wooden architecture with Buddhist, Hindu and Islamic influences.
