Four year old Mokata Eojere came to the Grevai health clinic with an ear infection. She arrived with a swollen face and a big clod of what looked like candle wax plugged into her right ear. It turned out to be a mixture of herbs and resin from the forest, a traditional remedy made up by her parents, to draw out the infection. Mokata has been living with the infection since November 2007.
