The Israeli separation barrier/wall on the edge of the Palestinian village of Jayous. Although the Green Line is about six kilometres away from this village, many local farmers here are cut off from their land that now lies on the other side of the fence. The farmers need a special permit (which is difficult to obtain) to cross the barrier and access to the farms on the other side of the wall is only possible during three short times a day. This settlement has also lost three water wells, forcing many villagers to buy their water from another village.
