Seen through the window of the house where Mohammed lives with his family, a Syrian refugee hangs out washing in the Turkish village of Saygin where more than 20 families have been given refuge. Mohammed, Dozgeen, their baby Omar, three year old son Ali and two year old daughter Gulay fled their home in Kobani more than four months previously. Although he didn't know anyone on the Turkish side of the border, the family were quickly given refuge by the villagers in Saygin, 10km inside Turkey. They have been surviving on donations from the local municipality and various NGOs as well as receiving blankets and mats from UNHCR. Although his home was totally destroyed during the battle for Kobani, Mohammed wants to return with his family as soon as possible. He says once he is back he will never leave again.
