A blurry landscape viewed from a carriage on the the Trans-Siberian Railway.. Countless Mennonites traveled along these tracks, stuffed into cattle cars, on their way to Gulag labour camps in the farthest reaches of the Soviet Union. Many Mennonites died during these journeys.
