A rally made up of students, locals and various left wing groups, in support of refugees, makes its way from Spielfeld railway station up into the surrounding vineyards and mountain villages to confront an opposing right wing anti-refugee demonstrators. A police road block is avoided by heading off the roads and into the surrounding fields. This Alpine region borders Slovenia and the town of Sentilj which contains a vast refugee processing centre. Its presence has raised tensions around the issue of refugees in a region more accustomed to rural agriculture. /Felix Features
