Kingsley Ofosu visits his cousin's home in Accra. Ofosu is the only survivor of nine African stowaways who boarded a cargo ship bound for Europe in 1992. After they were discovered, the ship's crew, fearful of heavy fines at their destination, beat and threw eight of the men off the ship at high sea. Ofosu survived the remainder of the journey hidden among the cargo and then escaped when they reached France. After alerting the authories, his testimony secured the conviction of the crew.
