An empty stage at the end of the night in Las Chozas (The Huts), makeshift nightclubs in the border town of Nueva Loja ( Lago Agrio). Where once a year people put aside their everyday concerns to take part in a few wild days and nights of celebration for Carnival. Children (Diablitos, little devils) spray each other with water, foam, flour, eggs and mud and teenagers dance all night.
