Issa Kouyate (in orange), the founder and director of Maison de la Gare a charity that seeks to rehabilitate ex-Talibe (children who live and study the Koran at a Daara, religious school), talks with a representative of AEMO (State Action for the Protection of the Rights of Children) about a group of 12 Gambian boys who have fled their Daara and are trying to get home.<br />
Talibe often have issues that stem from being separated from their parents at a young age and the abuse they endure at the Daaras where they are expected to beg to raise money for the Daara's marabout and to get food to fed themselves.
