Cheif Ukwoe Kpo is agitaded and complains about the effects of the oil explorations in the area.

In the midlle of the fishing village of Okoritak is a disused oil well. Recently, after ten years of neglect, the well was fitted with new parts. The villagers fear they will be forced to move without compensation. They are also angry because the waters are polluted from a nearby Mobile-Exxon oil facility. Unlike their neighbours across the river the village has not recived any benifits from the oil company. © Fredrik Naumann
