Disarmament process - a former child soldier hands in ammunition to an American soldier who asks him where and under whoÕs command he fought. At the beginning of December, UNMIL (the United Nations peacekeeping force in Liberia) began to disarm the militias of former president Charles Taylor. The introduction of disarmament was marked by riots, but after the UN decided to give 75 US Dollars to everybody who handed in a weapon, soldiers and child soldiers came in their thousands to the disarmament camps on the outskirts of Monrovia..
