Sid Ahmed making souvenirs to be sold to tourists, in his workshop in Qurna. Qurna is located a few miles outside Luxor and is built in the Valley of the Nobles, a major archeological site. The Egyptian authorities are demolishing Qurna and moving its inhabitants to nearby New Qurna to make way for more tourist friendly developments.
