Musicians play a concert at the site of a protest blockading the entrance to a Monsanto facility. In 2012, Monsanto, one of the largest GM seed producers in the world and a key player in the agrochemical supply chain, announced the construction of a seed treatment plant. However they faced strong opposition from local residents and a group of activists stopped the construction by camping outside the main entrances of the site blocking access. Now, four years on, a small group of environmental activists from various parts of the country remain on the outskirts of the abandoned site.
