Tan Chee Keat climbs into a Black Thorn durian tree to inspect its fruits which are tied with supporting strings to prevent them from falling and being damaged. The farm is owned by his father, Tan Eow Chong, and his family. Tan Eow Chong is an award-winning durian farmer famed for pioneering the Musang King variety. In 2018 Chong exported 1000 tons of the fruit to China from his family-run durian farm which has expanded from 80 to 1000 acres.
