At the Special Prison of Ayutthaya, prison inmates compete in a body building contest. The sixty participants are all drug offenders who have taken part in a unique body building rehabilitation program that aims to help the former addicts become stronger, both mentally and physically. This is the first time that a prison authority in Thailand has implemented such a rehabilitation program. The innovative scheme has assisted many of the prisoners to overcome the great pressure to return to their old habits once released back into the community.
